A collaboration between GMO Gamepot and the world’s most popular virtual singer, Hatsune Miku, began on Jan. 27. As part of the collaboration, a special version of Hatsune Miku called “Hatsune Miku Gamepot Ver.” was created. Illustrations, an image song, and a PV are available now on the official site.
The illustrator who worked on the main visual for “Hatsune Miku Gamepot Ver.” is Gin. Her outfit was designed with online games in mind and includes PC parts throughout such as a fan and mouse. The song “Sorezore ni Jinsei ga Aru” which features “Hatsune Miku Gamepot Ver.” also makes use of a similar concept and was written for the occasion by Pinocchio-P. The vocals are of course done by Hatsune Miku. The PV for the song was created by Kuroyuki.
In commemoration of the release of “Hatsune Miku Gamepot Ver.,” a “Real Goods Present Campaign” is also ongoing. The campaign is targeted at those who have a Gamepot ID. The campaign can be entered between Jan. 27 and March 9, and 100 people will be chosen to receive a “Hatsune Miku Gamepot Ver.” full graphic T-shirt that can’t be obtained anywhere else.
