Tiger & Bunny: The Rising will finally be released in Japan on Feb. 8. Being that it’s the second movie in the series and it has an entirely new story, fans’ anticipation is climbing.
Something else for fans to get even more excited about is that pre-orders have begun for a Tiger & Bunny costume series available on Bandai’s official shopping site, Premium Bandai. The series brings to life everyday fashion items that the two heroes, Kotetsu and Barnaby, wear in the show. The lineup includes a necktie, stone bracelet, shoes, a jacket, boots, a leather belt, and more.
Tiger & Bunny is an action-packed work set in a city in the future, but its characteristics are its abundantly unique characters and the fashion that influences those characters. It is a popular series even with cosplayers. With the new costume series, fans can enjoy a simple cosplay feel as well as easily immerse themselves in the world of Tiger & Bunny. The series is one that a wide range of people will likely enjoy.
The items that are now available for pre-order are Kotetsu’s necktie, stone bracelet, and shoes, and Barnaby’s jacket, boots, and leather belt. Each item is a real replica of their visual counterpart seen in the TV anime and movie. In addition, from the material selection to the stitching, each item is crafted by hand, making each one a rare, high-quality gem.
Boots created after those worn by Ryan, the new character who appears in Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, are also planned to be released. Since items are being developed one after the next on Bandai Fashion Net, keep an eye out for what’s to come. A portion of the products will also be put on display at Cafe & Bar Characro in Ikebukuro, which is currently themed after Tiger & Bunny: The Rising.
