May’n, a songstress who has performed anime songs for countless works and with whom fans are fascinated due to her impressive vocal range, has delivered good news. She has released a music video (1-chorus version) for her song “Lose My Illusions,” which is the lead song off of her forthcoming new album New World to be released on Jan. 29. Her newly announced album New World comes two years after her last, Heat, and is her fourth album to date. The tracklist kicks off with the smash hit “Chase the World” and also includes tie-in singles and songs exclusive to the album. The CD has a strong lineup of 12 songs in total. Also, including the two limited editions, three versions of this album will release, which is a first for May’n.
Also, the new single “Kyou ni Koiiro,” which will be released simultaneously with New World, has been chosen as the opening theme to the TV anime Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha set to begin broadcasting on Jan. 15. It’s a song wrapped in a shimmering, first-rate sound that expresses a faint awakening of love and guides listeners to face new beginnings. Similarly to “Lose My Illusions,” a music video for this song has been released as well.
Hitting the 10 year milestone since her debut this year, May’n is also gearing up for her world tour “May’n Road to 10th Anniversary Japan & World Tour 2014-2015 ‘Dots and Lines’.” This is shaping up to be another year in which fans won’t want to take their eyes off this talented singer!
