Bayonetta (Xbox 360/PS3), a game that is popular for its stunning graphics and gorgeous action, will be reincarnated in theaters when the full-length animation Bayonetta: Bloody Fate is released on Nov. 23. The movie will be released in 10 theaters throughout Japan for a limited two-week run.
Bayonetta is a white-knuckle, fast-paced action game that was released on Oct. 29, 2009 in Japan. The game was developed by Platinum Games and published by Sega. According to Sega, it’s a “non-stop climax action” game that can be summed up as having “constantly beautiful visuals.” The continuation, Bayonetta 2, is currently in development and will release in 2014 exclusively on the Wii U.
Bayonetta: Bloody Fate was screened for the first time at the 26th Tokyo International Film Festival after receiving a special invitation. Here, the movie picked up attention from fans, who can running to see it. A trailer for the movie was also released online on Oct. 23. Even though the 3D CG world of the game has been changed into a 2D anime, Bayonetta still looks as gorgeous as ever.
