Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion finally released in Japan on Oct. 26. The movie released in all areas of Japan simultaneously, and fans who wanted to be among the first to see it packed theaters for the late night showings. There were also long lines for the selling areas that opened in theaters at the same time. The release showed that the MadoMagi boom still isn’t declining in the slightest.
In celebration of the movie’s release, an exhibit titled “Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Reproduction Exhibit - Beginnings and Eternal” is being held. Beginning in Osaka, this exhibit is touring five cities throughout Japan including Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Sapporo. Currently, it is being held in Tokyo on the 52nd floor viewing platform of Roppongi Hills.
All throughout this floor, special Madoka Magica areas have been set up that fans will thoroughly enjoy. Each area has a different theme, from an area devoted to especially impressive art of the strong witches from the anime, to a picture booth of characters who appear in the anime, to a goods area packed with past publications and newspapers related to Madoka Magica. There is no doubt that this is an exhibit that will make attendees lose track of time as they become completely immersed in the world of Madoka Magica.

Also at the exhibit is a “Madoka Magica Cafe” that serves special menu items and a special goods area that has a diverse lineup of items. Here, attendees can enjoy to their heart’s content food that can’t be tasted anywhere else and items that can’t be bought anywhere else.
