The character and hobby festival Chara Hobby 2013 was held for two days, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, at Chiba's Makuhari Messe.
Many fans were in attendance from early in the morning.
The event featured booths from many well-known publishing companies, hobby companies, and anime studios. Each booth had various limited edition and unreleased goods for sale. Attendees were also able to enjoy a special look at the new fall anime series lineup on stage.

The beloved series Slayers also had a big booth!
Here's a booth where attendees were able to take a picture of themselves with five of the characters from Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club.
There were many booths for new fall series as well! These panels are the characters from a new series called Kyousogiga.
There were lots of new figures too!
All the participants enjoyed each booth to the fullest! If you couldn't attend the event this year, make sure to come next year!
