MangaPolo: When the Seven Dragon Balls Are Obtained, Something Marvelous Will Happen! See the Manga Version of Dragon Ball Vol. 1 in Video Form!

MangaPolo, much like the global explorer Marco Polo, is on a mission to go to the "land of manga" to share it's beauty with the Internet users of the world. Through its YouTube channel, MangaPolo distributes various videos related to manga.

We’d like to continue our introduction of MangaPolo’s video covering the second part of the beginning of Dragon Ball.

Deep in the mountains, Bulma meets a mysterious boy named Son Goku who has a tail, and she is invited back to his house. There, she is overjoyed to find a luminescent sphere. She learns that the sphere, actually called a Dragon Ball, was given to Son Goku by his father. The ball is mysterious in that if seven of them are collected, a Shenron (Holy Dragon) will appear to grant a wish. Bulma is interested in Goku’s Dragon Ball because she has actually been searching for them.

The Dragon Ball that Goku is in possession of is the fourth Dragon Ball, Su Shin Chū. Bulma already has two Dragon Balls herself: Aru Shin Chū and Uu Shin Chū. In order to get Goku to give her his Dragon Ball, she tries to negotiate with a little sex appeal, but Goku has no interest in women and her plan utterly fails.

However, even if Goku doesn’t give her his Dragon Ball, she only has to assemble the balls in the same place to be able to have a wish granted. So, she gives up on trying to coerce him into giving her his Dragon Ball and asks for his help in finding the rest. Goku agrees and the two set off on an adventure together.

However, from the outset of their journey, Bulma is captured by a carnivorous monster. Will Goku be able to save her?
