Do you know of the app “Domino’s App feat. Hatsune Miku”? The app is a collaboration between Domino’s, a large pizza delivery company, and the worldwide famous Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. Hungry otaku in Japan can easily order Domino’s pizza for delivery with this fun app downloadable from the App Store.
Now, the update 1.14 for this app, that has gathered attention for its use of Vocaloid tunes and completely Miku-themed interface, has been released. Fans can now further enjoy Hatsune Miku as they enjoy a slice of pizza. Read on for details on this update.
Pizza Stage Live Renewal
Pizza Stage Live is a service used for pizza delivery. When a pizza is delivered, this service can be activated by reading a pattern on the pizza box via a smartphone. It quickly transforms the pizza box into a performance stage for fans to enjoy a song sung by Miku via AR technology. New dance routines and music have been added to the app.
Social Pizza Camera
With this feature, fans can take pictures together with Miku. Miku’s poses are designed by the Domino’s crew. With the update, new poses have been added. Fans can choose from various Miku expressions and cute poses including Miku cutting pizza with a pizza cutter.
Domino’s Pizza Limited Wallpaper Collection
Fans can also download wallpaper after ordering a pizza. This rare, exclusive wallpaper is only available via the app. New wallpaper has been added with this update.
Until Sept. 30, other campaigns for Miku fans to take note of that use Miku are also ongoing. These include a special Hatsune Miku pizza box delivered exclusively to those who order pizza via the app and a Hatsune Miku pizza delivery ita-bike fans may see zooming around town. This summer also, enjoy Miku while eating pizza!
