On July 19, 2013, Sony Digital Entertainment made Kazuo Umezu's comics available for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad through the Apple iBookstore.
Since he debuted his work in 1955, manga genius Kazuo Umezu has created many renowned series including Makoto-chan and The Drifting Classroom. Many of them have been adapted into animated series. On July 23, a horror entertainment exhibition in Tenjin Loft opened, allowing fans to experience Kazuo's work first hand. With about 160 digital reproductions of original artwork, the event offers the chance to experience Kazuo's extensive repertoire and trace his path as a manga artist. Besides Makoto-chan and The Drifting Classroom, masterpieces such as Orochi: Blood, My Name is Shingo, and Fourteen are also available now!
