Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, a popular murder mystery visual novel that has spawned two manga adaptations and a TV anime, will be the first game of the Danganronpa series to release overseas. The PlayStation Vita game will release in North America and Europe next year by NIS America. As expected, the game is being finely tuned to the rapidly growing PS Vita market of North America and Europe and will include English text. Also, to the rejoice of many fans, it will include English and Japanese audio.
The original PSP version of the game was released exclusively in Japan on Nov. 25, 2010. Thereafter, the sequel Super Danganronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen, also for the PSP, released on July 26, 2012. Just recently on July 4 of this year, the TV anime Danganronpa: The Animation themed after the first game began broadcasting within Japan, as well as in North America and Europe. Danganronpa 1-2 Reload is planned to release in Japan later this year on Oct. 10 for the PS Vita. It will feature both Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Super Danganronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen.
There is no doubt that many overseas Danganronpa fans are excited about this long-awaited overseas release!
