The TV anime series Psycho-Pass, which was broadcast from fall 2012 to spring 2013 and picked up popularity, has begun to move anew. On July 5, a presentation event for the lineup of Fuji TV’s anime program block noitaminA was held. At this event, it was announced that an important presentation regarding a new project in the Psycho-Pass series will be held on Sept. 6.

Galilei Donna and Samurai Flamenco were among the new original anime announced at the presentation to begin this October that made a huge stir. In addition to this, a big surprise was the announcement of a project for Psycho-Pass. Even though the announcement was a surprise, very few particulars were given other than the name: “Project Important Presentation.” However, with the inclusion of big name participating guests such as director Naoyoshi Shiotani, assistant director Katsuyuki Motohiro, story planner and scriptwriter Gen Urobuchi, and voice actress Kana Hanazawa (Tsunemori Akane), it is expected that the news will be something monumental. The event will take place at a theater in Tokyo and be simulcast in five theaters around Japan.

On the day of the event, aside from something big being announced, an all-night screening of all 22 episodes of the anime will also be held. It seems like it will be a packed day. Many fans no doubt will be waiting on pins and needles for the next three months to find out what this big announcement will be.
