On June 10, the three part restart project for The Garden of Sinners commenced. The first part was the announcement of the 3D release of the first film Overlooking View as Overlooking View 3D and the plans of a completely new film titled Mirai Fukuin. The second part of the project was the announcement of plans for a general Blu-ray box of the film for The Garden of Sinners.
The third part of the project is the rebroadcast of the seven film chapters of The Garden of Sinners (13 episodes). They are currently broadcasting on Tokyo MX on Fridays at 12:00 a.m. They will begin broadcasting on BS 11 on July 10 at 3:00 a.m. and on Bandai Channel on July 19 at 12:00 a.m. They are also streaming on Fridays at 12:00 a.m. via Nico Nico Live.
The TV series is focused on the relationship between protagonist Ryougi Shiki and the young man that she favors, Mikiya Kokutou. Unlike the films, the episodes are being broadcast in chronological order. There are no new scenes added along with the restructuring of this TV version.
The general Blu-ray box will release on July 10, and Overlooking View 3D will release on July 13. Furthermore, the new film Mirai Fukuin is planned to release this fall. This is a great year for *The Garden of Sinners” fans!
