The cosmetic “Miracle Romance Shining Moon Powder” is themed after Sailor Moon’s magical brooch! The compact has become a hot topic because of its spot-on resemble to Sailor Moon’s actual magical brooch. The compact is targeted toward adults and teenagers 15 years of age or older, or in other words, many of those who saw the original TV broadcast of Sailor Moon. Pre-orders are currently being accepted via one of Bandai’s official shopping sites, Creer Beaute.
This the first product of the Sailor Moon cosmetics series “Miracle Romance.” The series is by Bandai’s cosmetics brand Creer Beaute. The design of the crystal-covered brooch is reproduced just like a collector’s item and includes pressed powder. The highly detailed work features a patterned frame around the mirror, a powder protection sheet printed with the Silver Crystal, and more.
You may be wondering why the powder is white and pink. It’s a powder formulated to absorb oil, reduce shine, and keep skin looking clean. It also includes moisturisers to give skin a soft, plush appearance and feel. Although it looks white and pink, it goes on clear and works well with most skin tones. It’s doesn’t just look cute, but is also scented with a “princess floral aroma.” The packaging is made with pearlescent paper and adds to the compact’s overall high-class appearance. On June 15 and 16, the product was introduced to the public at Bandai’s booth at the Tokyo Toy Show 2013.
As the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon is celebrated, new anime works, musicals, and more have been planned, and fans’ excitement is building. Creer Beaute also offers other collaborative goods including products themed after The Rose of Versailles and Urusei Yatsura. Fans can look forward to one or two more Sailor Moon Miracle Romance cosmetics and hopefully even more in the future!
