GungHo Online Entertainment announced a collaboration between its smartphone game app Puzzle & Dragons and Rebuild of Evangelion. The collaboration is going on now until June 9 (Sun).
In this collaboration, the Angels from Rebuild of Evangelion appear in the game as enemies in a collaboration dungeon released for the duration of the event only. Just like in traditional dungeons, if you can bring back the eggs that drop after defeating certain enemies, you can make the Angels join you.
In addition, familiar characters such as Shinji, Rei, Asuka, and Mari will appear in “Collaboration Gacha” piloting their Eva Units. These will be available in rare gacha for the duration of the event.
“Collaboration Gacha” have a design with Evangelion Unit-01 as their motif and they are exclusive to the event. Characters like “Shinji & Eva Unit-01” or “Rei & Unit-00” can only be obtained from these exclusive gacha.
