Music Video for Supercell’s New Song “Hakushukassai Utaawase” Finally Releases!

The entertainment unit Supercell, which is comprised of composer Ryo and several creators, has released their second single of 2013. “Hakushukassai Utaawase” was released on June 12. A short version of the song’s music video has also been released on YouTube.

“Hakushukassai Utaawase” is being used as the opening theme of the anime Katanagatari, which is broadcasting on Fuji TV’s noitaminA program block. The impressive song features a Japanese-style rock taste that represents the world of the anime and a story told anew by vocalist Koeda’s powerful voice. The artwork for the video was created by Supercell member Shirow Miwa.
