Namco Bandai Games has officially announced the Nintendo 3DS game One Piece: Unlimited World R.
The One Piece: Unlimited series is an action adventure series themed after the popular work, One Piece. The series lets players control the Straw Hat Pirates and enjoy a One Piece adventure. Since the first game in the series, One Piece: Unlimited Adventure on the Wii, to the last released game in the series, One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP for the Nintendo 3DS, the series has broken through 1 million copies sold within Japan and has become a long-standing, popular *One Piece series loved by fans.
Now, the newest game in the series, One Piece: Unlimited World R, has been announced. Unlimited World R is the first game in the series in four years and is being developed by Ganbarion, a game maker that has produced many One Piece games, including Gigant Battle.
The release date and price of the game are currently unknown. However, there are several aspects of the game that are. In the game, players will take on the roles of the Straw Hat Pirates starting with Luffy and will enjoy an adventure as they travel to different unknown islands and locations from the series’ history. The game will also include enjoyable components of pirate life at every location, including fishing and bug catching. Also, for the first time in the series, the game will support four-player multiplayer. Together with friends, players can battle gigantic monsters like dragons and freely enjoy living the pirate life to its fullest. The game is being designed with content that will fully immerse players in the world of One Piece.
