Distress, shame, remorse, and weeping,
My dear, my beloved, do you know
All the darkness that eats away at my soul?
It might seem as if I’m deceiving you,
When you embrace me with those beautiful, white arms,
When you think about me in that pure and noble chest.
But I don’t have the courage to reveal my real self to you.
(from the official episode guide)
Although his classmates ignored him because of a suspected involvement with Nakamura, Takao becomes the center of attention at one bound because of his relationship with Saeki.
As the subject of his yearnings became his girlfriend, Takao is immersed in a superiority complex from the envious looks of the other boys.
However, he witnessed Saeki and Nakamura talking in the corridor, and he feels uneasy to the two becoming closer. Nakamura then tells Takao, who is conflicted between happiness and the sense of guilt that always tags along with it, “the thing Saeki wants.”
As he is standing still in front of Saeki’s house, not being able to believe it, but also wanting to make sure, Nakamura appears once again. What is she planning, and what is Saeki’s true motive...?
