Chiba Urban Monorail has announced the commencement of voice actresses taking on the role of in-train announcers for their special Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (aka Oreimo) decorated monorails that are currently in operation. Furthermore, syncing up with the start of this service is the decision to extend the period of time for which the event trains and specially decorated monorails will be in service.

The Oreimo decorated monorail is a collaboration with the popular light novel and anime. The monorail began service on March 30. Inside the train, several projects matching up with the setting of the series have been carried out that have had a big impact at fans.

As part of the latest project, the in-train announcers will be Ayana Taketatsu, who voices Kousaka Kirino, and Kana Hanazawa, who voices Kuroneko. The recorded announcements will be implemented on June 8 in the trains that run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and depart from the Minato and Chishirodai stations in Chiba.

Matching up with the release of the 12th volume of the light novel on June 7, a decorated monorail used for the event will be in service. On top of being able to hear the announcements one day ahead, other plans to be held include a photography meetup and more.

The date that the artwork-covered monorails will be in service until has also been extended. Previously scheduled to end on June 30, the monorails will now run until Sept. 30. This unexpected announcement is surely welcome news to fans.
