The popular idol group Momoiro Clover Z (Momoclo) appeared in a hero show on May 5 held in Tobu Zoo in Saitama Prefecture.
The show, called “Momoclo Child Festival 2013 ~Protect! Tobu Zoo, Fight! Momoiro Animal Z~,” was a live event to celebrate Children’s Day. The show has been held since 2012, so this was the second time. Momoclo prepared various performances for children, and the 5,000 children and their parents in attendance all went crazy.
The main part of the event was a hero show in which the members of Momoclo dressed up as “Animal Warriors - Momoiro Animal Z” and fought against evildoers. The performance included dancing and action in addition to their songs, and it was a show that children, who constituted most of the viewers, couldn’t get enough of.
Hiromichi-oniisan (Hiromichi Sato) and Tanizo (Kuniharu Taniguchi) also joined Momoclo as special guests for five enthusiastic songs. As the two of them are well-known from children’s programs, the children became even more heated. It was a normal live, but with special guests and in a Momoclo-style.
The show ended as a great success, and everyone who saw it is surely looking forward to next year’s.
