Two popular CG anime films from Japan are landing in South Korea!
The opening day for the highly praised 009 Re:Cyborg will be May 9. The movie will open in 20 theaters across South Korea (15 in 2D, five in 3D). The film’s director, Kenji Kamiyama, will also be visiting South Korea to promote the opening of the movie.
On May 23, two weeks after the opening of 009 Re:Cyborg, a movie in the Ghost in the Shell series, which has deep-rooted fans all over the world, will also begin screening. That movie is Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society 3D. The logo for the movie adapts the same design as the TV series, however, the opening is completely new. Solid State Society 3D will begin screening in five theaters in South Korea.
Both films are being released solely by Megabox. For anime fans in South Korea, don’t miss these great films!
