The visual magazine Girls-Pedia from Enterbrain has begun being published. The magazine features new female talent who hope to become gravure models, idols, or actresses, and it will release every three months.
As the title implies, this magazine is being compiled with the concept of being a “girl encyclopedia.” It doesn’t include the idols and artists currently famous in the J-Pop world, but rather focuses on eager newcomers. Idol groups are also introduced, as well as their various members.
Each volume introduces 10 girls who are featured over a span of 10 pages each that follow a gravure structure of photos of the girls in their swimsuit and casual clothes. Concert photos are also included.
The first volume’s front cover and front page feature Makoto Okunaka (Passpo), You Kikkawa, and Marina Horiuchi (Sakura Gakuin). The volume also features photos of NMB48 and a special gravure feature of Miwako Kakei.
In celebration of the debut of Girls-Pedia magazine, a special event was held on April 30. Moving forward, many events and video content related to the magazine are also being planned.
