Studio Deen is releasing an artbook for the anime series Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East. The book is titled Studio Deen Production Art Note 004 Hakkenden, and it will be sold at the doujin event Super Comic City 22 as limited edition product.
Super Comic City is a large-scale event for displaying and selling doujinshi oriented at female audiences and is known throughout Japan. It will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from May 3-4 during Golden Week. Studio Deen will also take part in the exhibition with a company booth and will sell goods exclusive to the event. The featured product is the original art collection Studio Deen Production Art Note 004 Hakkenden.
This artbook features many original artworks from the anime, all carefully selected by the production staff. As these original pictures vividly show the process of how the anime was born, it is without a doubt that they will fascinate fans. The price is 1,500 yen (tax included).
Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East is an anime based on Miyuki Abe’s popular manga that is currently being serialized in Ciel. It was broadcast from January to March of this year, and a second season is planned for this summer. Blu-ray and DVD releases by Bandai Visual have started as well.
