Yesterday, we brought you an in-depth report of the DJ event held to commemorate the release of DJ Kazu’s second anime song (anison) CD “J-Anison Kamikyoku Matsuri~Legend~[DJ Kazu in No.1 Fumetsu Mix].” Now, we’ve gotten word that DJ Kazu is planning another energetic event to take place in Japan this week during Golden Week.
From April 30 - May 6 in front of Akihabara Gamers, a popular shop near Akihabara Station, DJ Kazu will set up a DJ booth and play various hit songs for those on their way to enjoy the streets of Akihabara. This event was also held last year, making this year’s event the second one.
Last year, DJ Kazu firmly seized the attention of everyone as he mixed together a lineup of anime songs in front of throngs of people who had gathered for Golden Week. A huge bustle was created as people quickly gathered in front of Akihabara Gamers, their hearts being moved by anime songs, which cross over age, gender, and even nationality. The curtain closed on the hugely popular event with around 1,200 of DJ Kazu’s CDs being sold at the store.
Now, that excitement is returning again this year. The event will be held each day from 10 a.m. to around 6 p.m. A full array of special bonuses such as posters and stickers have been prepared for those who buy one of DJ Kazu’s CDs at the event. Of course, the event is free!
In addition to it being the season for excursions, many are out and about in Japan for Golden Week. If you happen to be in Japan and drop by Akihabara in the next few days, definitely make your way to Akihabara Gamers. If you like anime, you will definitely leave fully satisfied!
