The extremely popular anime K-On! is becoming a trading card arcade game called K-On! After School Rhythm Time.
The game is being developed by Atlus, which is known for its popular series Persona and Devil Survivor. Each play costs 100 yen, and players are guaranteed to receive a new card when they are done.
The game features highly collectable cards that are read by the game’s machine (three cards max). Players then press buttons in rhythm to music from the series and try to get the best timing and highest score possible. Original voice overs have also been compiled for the game. Furthermore, an original goods campaign for the game will take place when the game launches later this spring.
