“Shirokuma Cafe - A Large Serving of Bamboo in Yomiuri Land” Releases on DVD

Shirokuma Cafe is a TV anime famous for its animal characters. Now, a DVD containing the recordings of the event “Shirokuma Cafe - A Large Serving of Bamboo in Yomiuri Land,” which was held Nov 4, 2012, has been released.

Eleven voice stars including Takahiro Sakurai (Shirokuma), Jun Fukushima (Panda), and Hiroshi Kamiya (Penguin) participated in the event and held programs such as a talk show, variety corner, voice overs of famous scenes and preview scenes, and a gift convention. A huge crowd of 4,000 fans attended.

Besides recordings of the event, the DVD also has backstage cast member comments as well as pictures of animals taken at the zoo next to the event hall. The limited DVD is now on sale at Animate for 4,935 yen (tax included).
