A Blu-ray and DVD box will release on March 27 for the TV anime Steins;Gate, which is popular both in Japan and abroad. It’s probable many people will purchase the box in preparation for the film Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà-vu, which will be released on April 20. This box should definitely tide fans over until then!
The nine-disc box set includes all 24 episodes, plus a special unaired episode “Pompous Polio Mania.” Also included in the Blu-ray box is a special recorded version of the Steins;Gate event “Operation: Gift Bringer” that was held in October 2011, as well as a 200-page special booklet.
The box was specially created by illustrator Huke (Ryohei Fuke), who also worked on the original illustrations of the characters. The DVD box will cost 18,900 yen and the Blu-ray box will cost 39,900 yen (both prices include tax). Naturally, those who are planning to see the movie should pick one up, but for those who haven’t seen Steins;Gate yet, how about using this opportunity to check it out for the first time? You won’t regret it!
