Starting on April 13, theaters throughout Japan will begin screening the film HK/Hentai Kamen. In commemoration, a movie-based novel will release shortly thereafter on April 15. It will also include photos of the director and cast, as well as their comments.
The novel HK Hentai Kamen (author: Sho Hinata) will cost 998 yen (tax included). The novel and its special features may be enjoyed together with the film.
HK/Hentai Kamen is a live-action film adaptation of the classic manga Kyukyoku!! Hentai Kamen (original author: Keishu Ando), which originally appeared during the golden era of manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. During that golden era, many masterpieces were born in Weekly Shonen Jump. Yet among these, Hentai Kamen is a work that many still remember.
It’s been roughly 20 years since its magazine serialization, so the film certainly came as a surprise to many fans. The movie’s announcement and mysterious film visual also caused quite a stir. Surely, news on HK/Hentai Kamen will only increase as the release date approaches.
