On March 30, the first Dragon Ball movie in 17 years, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, will begin screening in Japan. Recently, a live reading event was held at Avaco Creative Studios that featured voice actresses from the movie, notably the two guest voice actresses, Kaoru Matsumoto and Shoko Nakagawa. Matsumoto won the gold medal in the under 57 kilogram class in women’s judo at the London Olympics, and Nakagawa is a popular talent who has an abundant knowledge of the otaku subculture.
Joining these two guests was the popular voice actress Masako Nozawa, who voices Son Goku, Gohan, and Goten. Appearing alongside Nozawa, Matsumoto and Nakagawa appeared nervous. However, they gave it their all and became more relaxed as the event progressed. The event ended will all three showing off their Kamehameha pose for the cameras.
The wait until March 30 is unbearable!
