The anime adaptation of the unique RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia will begin broadcasting this summer. Recently, a visual featuring the four main characters was released and information on the voice cast was announced.
The voice cast for the main heroines in the anime will be the original voice cast from the game: Rie Tanaka, Asami Imai, Kana Asumi, and Rina Sato.
Hyperdimension Neptunia began as an RPG for the PS3 that was released in 2010. The game is an interesting take on the current generation console war, with the characters all representing different video game consoles.
To commemorate the game becoming an anime, two stage events will be held this month. The first will take place on March 17 at the event Game Dengeki Thanksgiving 2013 & Dengeki Bunsho Spring Festival 2013, which will be held at Bellesalle in Akihabara. The other will take place on March 30 at Makuhari Messe as part of Anime Contents Expo 2013.
