“Kaiyodo Evangelion Figure World” Exhibit Held in Chiba

Continuing to make use of the popularity of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, a new exhibit looking at the world of Evangelion was held in Funabashi, Chibi from Feb. 2 - March 10.

The “Kaiyodo Evangelion Figure World” exhibit featured figures in the poseable figure series Revoltech that recreated the world of Evangelion. More than 40 poseable figures as well as box dioramas were on display, recreating memorable scenes from the series in dramatic fashion. The exhibit also featured past and present Evangelion figures by Kaiyodo. Revoltech is said to have ushered in the poseable figure revolution, and attendees got to witness their molding techniques at the exhibit.

Those who attended the exhibit received a mini figure from Kaiyodo as a free gift. Furthermore, Kaiyodo figures and various Evangelion goods were on sale at the exhibit’s shop.
