Introduction to Advanced Jobs and Monster Jobs in “Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden”

New information has been announced regarding the Nintendo 3DS game Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden (*Dragon Quest VII: Eden no Senshitachi*), which was released in Japan on Feb. 7, 2013. Let’s take a look at advanced jobs and monster jobs.

Advanced jobs are jobs that players can unlock once a character job has been mastered and certain conditions have been met. There is an advanced job for each of the 10 basic jobs. The advanced jobs are Battlemaster, Sage, Wizard Warrior, Pirate, Monster Hunter, Paladin, Superstar, God Hand, Tenchi-raimei-shi, and Hero. The conditions for God Hand, Tenchi-raimei-shi, and Hero are particularly grueling. As such, players may want to focus on these three last.

God Hand is one of the hardest jobs to acquire. He possesses the most powerful physical attacks in the game and can also use healing magic. Tenchi-raimei-shi is the most powerful magic user who can use the game’s top spells. Hero is the ultimate job in the Dragon Quest series and has a great balance of skills.

Monster jobs allow players to become monsters after they obtain a monster’s spirit. For example, players who obtain a Slime’s spirit can become a Slime. Players can change monster jobs at the Dharma Temple.
