Many games have already been released throughout the world for Japan’s representative robot anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. In fact, no other anime has had as many game adaptations as Mobile Suit Gundam. Now, a new game is being added to this extensive list.
The new game is called Gundam Breaker and will be released this year for the PS3 and PS Vita. Gundam Breaker sets itself apart from previous Gundam games in that it is based on Gundam plastic models (Gunpla), which have also been a widely popular component of the series. Gundam Breaker is an action game in which players build their own Gunpla and battle against other Gunpla models.
Gunpla models come in a variety of scaled sizes including 1/60 and 1/144, and this is also reproduced in the game. Therefore, the game features different sizes of the same mobile suits. It is also possible to battle Gunpla of different sizes in the game. Due to its differences from previous Gundam games, Gundam Breaker offers fans a new way to enjoy the world of Gundam.
