Missed “Tamako Market”? On-Demand Streaming Has Begun!

For those who missed the anime’s original televised run, Tamako Market began streaming on Tokyo Broadcasting System’s on-demand service on Jan. 16! Tamako Market is Kyoto Animation’s latest work. Many know KyoAni from their hugely popular anime K-On!.

Haven’t heard of Tamako Market? Here’s a quick rundown. Kitashirakawa Tamako is the daughter of a mochi shopkeeper in the Usagiyama shopping district and a first-year student in high school. She loves mochi and the Usagiyama shopping district, having grown up with both. One day, she happens upon a talking bird. A comedic story ensues as the haughty bird decides to freeload at Tamako’s home!
