The Release of the PSP Game “Ultraman All-Star Chronicle” Is Almost Here!

NAMCO BANDAI Games will release the PSP game Ultraman All-Star Chronicle on Mar. 7. The cost of both the disc version and download version will be 6,280 yen (tax included).

It has also been announced that fans can get exclusive content by purchasing the game. Planned so far are exclusive PSP themes as well as Ultraman and Ultraman Zero cards for use in Ultraman Battle Collection. Both the themes and the cards can be obtained by using codes included with the game. Even more content is planned for the future.

The game features the popular Ultraman and the appearance of many recognizable monsters. Judging from the name Ultraman, fans would rightfully assume that the game is an action game, but that is not the case. The game is actually an “ultra tactical battle” game in which the player must battle using strategy as opposed to in-you-face, white-knuckle action. Furthermore, the game’s story is completely original.

Even with different gameplay than the usual Ultraman fare, fans are sure to enjoy this game.
