The Madoka Magica strawberry raw yatsuhashi collaboration product went on sale in Tokyo, Japan on Nov.23, 2012 for a limited time. Yatsuhashi is a Japanese confection made from rice flour, sugar, and cinnamon. The sweet treat was also sold at Comic Market 83. From Dec. 29-31, the collaboration product was sold at Frontier Works’ booth, as well as the Lawson International Exhibition Hall Store, and the Lawson Dawn Central Tower Store.
From Sep. 21-23, at the first Kyoto International Manga/Anime Fair 2012 at the Miyako Messe convention center, 10 local businesses collaborated on 18 items and a total of 30 varieties went on sale. The Madoka Magica strawberry raw yatsuhashi was one of them.
The price of a box of nine pieces of the collaboration yatsuhashi was 600 yen. Unfortunately though, they were only sold until the end of the year.
