Official Site Launches for “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII”

Following up on 2009’s Final Fantasy XIII and 2011’s Final Fantasy XIII-2, the final chapter in the FF XIII trilogy, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, is set to release in 2013. After a long wait, the official site for the game has finally been launched. Take a look at the site to see the newest trailer for the game.

The trailer was first shown during “Jump Fest 2013” from Dec. 22-23, 2012. The trailer shows the triumphant return of Lightning wearing a new costume and is full of battle scenes that give viewers a good sense of the game’s world and visuals.

The music used in the trailer is “Crimson Blitz - Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII”. Masashi Hamauzu is once again in charge of the game’s music, which gives valuable insight into the game’s world even for those who are already familiar with it. The song is now available on the iTunes Store and Animelo Mix.
