Tiger & Bunny is becoming a game once more!
D3 Publisher has announced that the PSP game Tiger & Bunny: Heroes Day will release this March. The regular edition of the game will cost 6,090 yen and the limited edition will cost 8,800 yen (both prices include tax). The limited edition comes with an illustrated box and chibi figures of Wild Tiger and Barnaby wearing outfits from episode six of the anime.
Tiger & Bunny: Heroes Day is an adventure game based in the world of Tiger & Bunny. The game is set in a near future where superheroes wielding a unique power called “NEXT” begin appearing. The game allows players the chance to experience the everyday, carefree world of Tiger & Bunny, and focuses not just on the two protagonists, but all of the heroes.
The game also features a completely original story. One day, after settling the usual troubles, the heroes are summoned by Agnes and shown a poster. It seems that a new theater will be opening in Shuterunbiruto and the heroes will be there for the first performance. The new musical is set to begin on the evening of the following day. As the story unfolds, the heroes become entangled in a strange mystery.
Each of the eight playable characters in the game has their own story to play through, and after the common prologue, the stories branch off. All of the game’s illustrations were created by the staff from the anime. As players progress through the story, they will encounter other heroes from the series. Also, each of the characters in the game are fully voiced, and the playable characters are fully voiced even down to their thoughts.
The game also includes several extras such as pictures and profiles of all of the characters that appear in the game, a character database, the ability to listen to the game’s BGM, an image gallery of scenes from the game, and a collection of the characters’ messages that players hear upon starting up the game.
