“Berserk Golden Age” Chara-Heroes Figures to Be Released in January!

Kentaro Miura’s original manga Berserk is a fantasy epic that has sold 33 million copies worldwide. If that wasn’t enough, the series is also being made into a trilogy of movies collectively titled Berserk Saga Project. The final movie in the trilogy, Berserk Golden Age Arc III: Descent will begin screening on Feb. 1, 2013.

To hold fans over until the release of the new movie, a new line of Berserk character figures has been made by trading figure brand, Chara-Heroes. The lineup features gorgeous figures of characters from The Hawks, including Guts and Griffith, and rare characters including Bazuso, Adon, and Boscorn, as well as a secret Behelit. The lineup puts the spotlight not only on the main characters, but also many of the supporting characters as well. The figures will go on sale near the end of January at Circle K, Sunkus, Lawson, and hobby shops in Japan.
