Haikyu!! Behind the Scenes!

The magazine has some insights on Furudate-sensei's techniques, pictures around the studio, as well as some comments. The DVD shows sensei's drawing process starting from the sketch until the finished coloured illustration. Furudate-sensei's skillful use of the G-pen is really really amazing! The second part of the DVD has Haikyu!!'s editor explaining some bits of Haikyu!! serialization process. A high quality print of the illustration from the DVD is also included. A really great purchase!

Collector's item!

The limited edition has an exclusive cover design different from the normal edition. The cover design is related to the OVA story in the DVD. The OVA is really cute and funny too! There's no other way to watch it than by buying this limited edition version. There's also a sticker sheet included, and the manga fits right in the DVD case. Vol. 21 of the manga covers all the story up to the conclusion of the Shiratorizawa match, a really intense and emotional conclusion!

Easy to use

The tool set is easy to clean after use. The nori cutter cuts cleanly, the result is cute shapes as shown in pictures. The cat shaped rice shaper is also easy to use, the shapes come out evenly and nicely.

The face looks a bit crooked

The plushie is soft and cute! However as a pouch it's a bit too small so there's not much use for it. The face is a also a bit crooked when viewed from the front. The fur is really nice though, soft and shows a nice russian blue shine.

Fits a lot of pens

The print on the pencil case have nice pastel colours, and doesn't fade out or scratch easily. The size is also perfect for my ink pens. It's also easy to open without damaging the metal surface of the case.

Good artbook

The print and paper quality are really good. The background art in the anime is stunning, it looks extra nice inside the book. The book has character designs and extra illustrations too. The landscape format of the book is a bit unusual, but it fits nicely in a shelf along with other artbooks.

The first Nendoroid for Haikyu!!

Hinata's expressions are really on point in Nendoroid form. The hair is sculpted well, and the colour is a really good vibrant orange, so eye-catching! The hair shading is nicely done too. The number 10 is a bit faded against the black colour of his uniform though.

Cute phone companion

For a small phone accessory it has very good quality. The paint is done well, and it is very strudy. It also stuck well to the earphone jack.

Nice miniature

This accessory is a great prop for the skeleton set. However it is a bit too small for Nendoroid. The bread, plate, milk, and book are fine but the chair and table are quite small. The paint job for the table and table have some noticeable defects. The colours also fit the more depressing mood of skeletons, so it's not that vibrant.

Big and gorgeous

The print quality is really really nice! The calendar features really nice illustrations of Haikyu!! that appeared in JUMP before, but without the texts. The illustrations have nice details and colours, and the print quality did them justice. The sketches on the last page is exclusive to this calendar.

The magnets are great

The figure can stand nicely using magnets as the base. So I don't need to attach it using plastic stand even though it was included. This opens more options for poses and photos. The dress has some loose strings though. Also it tends to move to the side a lot so I have to readjust the dress a lot of times. The arm joints tend to slip out a lot too so I have to be careful not to lose them.

The OVA is really cute

The DVD quality is good, and the cover design is limited to this edition only. The spine features Lev in that same pose though, instead of the usual character doing spiking motion featured in normal edition covers. The anime features an original story not seen in the manga, and the manga cover depicts that story perfectly!

Really well made

An eternal calendar featuring cute haikyu!! characters as cute animals. The best kind of calendar haha. It's more like a figurine collection too, and all the extra parts make really nice props for figure photos. The "secret" figurine is the bokuto owl, which is extra nice! The scoreboard is a bit hard to assemble, and the ball can be a bit unstable when a figurine is attached to it. Also a bit of nitpicking but kageyama's eyes are coloured purple-ish which is a bit strange since his eyes are supposed to be blue. Everything else is nice though.

Good quality

When displayed right beside Nendoroid Hinata, he actually is a bit taller. It's not that apparent in pictures, but that little detail is nice since height is a big thing in Haikyu!! haha. It's a bit hard to pull off the pose where he's holding the ball, but for setting poses the included parts do well. He can be made to do sitting pose too since the waist uses the ball joint.

Amazing detail

Really really nicely detailed shoes, which made me really happy. His hair is nicely detailed as well, and the colours are really nice. He even has a slightly different skintone than the Kageyama counterpart. Their heights and skin colours follow the manga/anime really well so they look nice displayed together. A bit difficult to assemble, especially the waist part. Had to be pressed quite firmly until they are properly attached (to make the shirt looks like it really is tucked in). The figure comes with a base that can be attached to one leg but it can stand on its own even without it, and quite stable too.

Looks better than in pictures

The face made me think twice about buying it, but I'm glad I did. He looks much nicer in person than in pictures! His face looks a bit more emo in the promo pictures but only because of the lighting I think. It was easy to assemble, and really quite big. Also displays nicely beside the Hinata counterpart since their heights are scaled well. Nice sculpt and no noticeable paint defects too.

Nice paper texture

A litte smaller than I expected since I didn't look at the description properly, but otherwise a nice sketchbook. The paper has a nice texture and quite thick so I think it can absorb pen ink pretty well.

It has all the cute artworks

A great official fanbook! It has I think all the pretty illustrations that appeared in anime magazines. Some of the illustrations are in 2-page spreads, so really big! Other illustrations include the DVD covers and character design sheets. The book also has interviews and character information but in Japanese.

Too cute I can't use it as a mug

The colours are really vibrant, very good quality! It has a small official logo on it too. It's not that tall but the circumference is big so good for cooling off hot drinks quickly. Too bad I won't use it since I don't want to accidentally break it haha. I'm super happy I managed to get the blue version, but I would be happy to buy other colours too someday!
