QuesQ has produced some of my favorite figures. I especially appreciate this line because of the detail and emphasis on quality. Of the four figures in this line that I have purchased, I have only found one small flaw. In this figure, there is one small area where the paint has been applied in such a way as to create two small bumps. Otherwise, like the other figures, it brims with vitality and is otherwise flawless.

This figure conveys Akari's motherly side very well, through her demure and practical clothing, her loosely tied back hair, and her concerned expression. The pose is entirely natural and she seems about ready to make some earnest inquiry. Akari's sweater is beautifully crafted. Some problems become apparent with the inside of her skirt; I noted at least four significant marks that, had they been on the outside of the skirt, would have necessitated a return. I suspect quality control issues, in part because I have recently had products from Good Smile that were marred by much more serious defects. The first figure I received looked as though it had melted around the midsection of the dress. I received a replacement several months later, but even though it had come straight from the manufacturer, and had been inspected before being sent, the same issue was present. In the end, a terrible disappointment.
