If you buy all the figures individually you'd end up paying about the same (47x5=235). If you buy this set you get them all and a beautify collector's box. Because of space and funds I try to be very selective on what figures I buy based on how I would like to display and my attachment to the anime. I like to focus on one figure, usually scale figures with an action pose or something reminiscent of a scene of the source material. Given that I really enjoyed the anime and its Movie I've been hesitant on buying something because there are 5(or 6) main characters.
