This book gives you helpful advice from traditional: watercolor/copic/color pencils, to digital: sai/photoshop. It shows a lot of picture and even step-by-step photos of how to color in each medium. It also contains different artists work and what I found cute was the age range of what a character looks like growing up. I would say 60% of the book has a different texture of paper where you can actually draw on to practice? and in black and white; while the 40% is in color. At first I was a bit disappointed with the transition, but then I guessed it was for the user to practice with actually coloring and creating characters on it.
