A box full of fan service!!

With no shadow of a doubt, this is the best box set Capcom have ever released. I have been collecting these figures since the release of CFB Plus Rage Kai (still a little bit late to the game) and none have impress me as much as this one. Let's give each of them a quick run down in the order I pulled each of them:

1) Lunastra: her first CFB release and she looks GREAT. This is one occasion when the actual figure looks better than the picture; her seemingly small paw are in proportion to her body and her fangs are nicely symmetrical.

2) Xeno: Seemingly a re-color of the previous release, but the mold is slightly different. Most notably the flame from the tail, head, an...

A decent figure of egg plant girl

As the first figure (at least I'm sure of it) of this character, it isnt half bad. The character looks like how she is in the illustration, and the hair accessory is rendered clearly. The texture feels right from top to bottom; her purple cloth (?) has the bumpy surface like it should (something that the EXQ figure line excels at), while the bottom half of her kimono is very smooth. The body was rendered really good.

The only complaint I have is about her hair. I do wish her hair were sharpened more acutely instead of having them becoming duller as they were coming closer to the tip. I am willing to pay extra just for that.

Overall, this is a pretty decent EXQ figure...

A fair 3d rendition of Anzu for the price

I bought this together with Kaede as part of the PEARL COLOR re-release. Right off the bat I noticed that both of their skin tone were remarkably pale; almost as pale as Ranko or Frederica. Maybe it is the premise of this re-release, but I do not have their older verison so I cannot make any conclusion without some side to side comparison. Keep that in mind before picking either one up.

As for the figure itself, it is typical of the EXQ prize figure quality. Starting with the positives, the miniscular details on her dress are impressive. The little frills and folds are rendered very clearly, and there are very little mess ups. The attached a photo only shows some of the front det...

I should love this figure but

Unfortunately, I received a verison with some pretty bad mess ups. There werent many, but for those that are present they are really awful; especially that little burn mark on top of Kirari's head. I might sound a bit picky but for a figure that is almost two hundred dollars, obvious mistakes like these shouldn't exist. The factory oba-san must have a bad day or something to make mistakes like this.

PS: I do love the compact packaging though. The blister plastic trays stack together nicely and doesn't take up a whole chunk of space. A+ for packaging design.

Amazingly detailed figures of new and classic monsters.

This boxset contains all of the nine promised monsters as well as two bonus monsters; they are Kirin in clear white and Teostra in clear red. The build quality of each figures is a little bit inconsistent, however. The Rathian and Astalos that I got is a little bit loose with their base; while Agnaktor's beak and one of Nargacuga's arm razor are bent for a little bit. But the rest are all really good, if not amazing. I especially love the new Lagiacrus and Mizutsune, and Narcaguca (despite the problem with the arm razor). This boxset is both quality and quantity.

EDIT: I forgot that these figures are made of PVC. Any bent parts can be fixed with a blow dryer.
