There is no HDMI output but the s-video output makes the video a little cleaner than the original systems. Also it plays carts that don’t work on my other entire "retro" all in one device. There is no lag between the controller buttons and the action on the screen. It over performs in its class, that's for sure. The controllers it's packed in don't suck either, which is a pretty big achievement by itself.
