Really, the keychain is super cute. I haven't had any problems unless I was usually rough with it (I scraped my keys into the car when I was tired and undid the chain...), so the product is obviously made very well.
I did think these were squishy charms, not hard plastic which surprised me. However, now that I think about it, hard plastic isn't as easily damaged as soft foam.
Buy one.
