OMG! The nostalgia in this manga...

Wow! This manga makes me nostalgic for the first time that I read this series. Clamp's achievements in art and storytelling style really come out in this manga. The art in Gate 7 is so smooth and free-flowing that sometimes it looks as if it was painted by a skilled calligrapher. Obviously, the firm lines of the pen are noticeable in this work but, certain scenes seem as if nothing is used but brush and tone. All in all, this is an amazing example of modern art in manga.
