Excellent Ice-Cream Princess

Excellent version of Skadi in what I consider to be her best ascension outfit. She's kind of tall with the way her base is set up, but that has the benefit of making her stand out more. I like the dynamic pose. No complaints!

Probably not worth the price

I'm kind of on the fence here on whether I regret the purchase or not because as a centerpiece figure, it definitely has presence. From a distance, it's great. There are a number of more minor things that do add up though. For example, the gold trim around the base is kind of scuffed up, and the quality control there is not the best. I also am worried about the potential for leaning over time because all of the weight is put on the one leg. I don't know how reinforced that leg is, so time will tell. Mostly, I'm just disappointed that there are these types of quality control issues on a figure that was this expensive. If you're a super Alice fan, then it might be for ...Read moreClose

Better than expected

The woolen outfit does look kind of cheap (toy plastic-y) or weird, but it definitely wasn't as bad as I expected. I think all of these companies try (and kind of fail) at trying to simulate the wool look, but it could have been worse. In fact, it does kind of have a certain charm to it. Other than that, it's a pretty high quality prize-figure from Taito, as usual. Even her toenails are painted, which is a nice touch of detail. Pick her up if you're a Saekano fan.

Not the best, but serviceable

This is not the best Jeanne figure, but it's also not terrible. If you're looking for a figure of her in this outfit, it's not bad.
I think the worst part is the hair. It's almost like they stopped coloring it or shading it at the top and past her shoulders. The hair around her neck and shoulders looks great, in terms of the gold/blonde paint used. But beyond that, it's a really flat yellow, which doesn't really look that good.
The rest of the figure is decent otherwise. The sculpt is pretty good to me. A little tough to get onto her base at first because the flame effects (which do look good) are in the way, but if you keep at it, you'll be fine....

For SAO Fans

This art book is a must for SAO fans. It is essentially only illustrations, so you don't have to worry about whether you read Japanese or not. If you like SAO, then consider getting this collection!

The Elric Brothers!

Someone transmuted a great Fullmetal Alchemist figure because Ed and Al turned out great. There are some neat features like battery powered lighting which adds some pop.
The box for them is perhaps overly large, but better safe than sorry, I guess. All in all, excellent!

Nice!

It’s simple, it’s swimsuit, it’s Shiroko. This is a nice figure. No flaws from what I can tell. If you like Blue Archive, you’ll like this one.

Slightly Sunburned Race Queen

Shoukaku is overall, pretty good. She is quite big, if you know what I mean, and well sculpted. The only complaint is that she is a bit overly shaded in certain parts. Said shading is of a red/pink tone, so it makes her look a bit sunburned. Fortunately, it was only noticeable (to me, at least) on her right shoulder. You can see it in other places, but it was not distracting or super noticeable elsewhere. Maybe my copy was better than others (or I'm just less discerning) because I have read a lot of others complaining about this. My advice would be to do your research and then decide for yourself. If you can get past it, or use the right kind of lighting, she's a great figure.

I can be your devil or your angle

Very happy with this Rem figure. The sculpt is pretty good for a prize figure and I'd say she is probably close to a 1/8 scale. No complaints for her price!

Simple, but good!

Great prize figure. She comes in two pieces (upper half and lower half) that you connect together. The fit was a little tight, to it does require some effort to get them together but that is probably better than the other way around. All in all, she's good and pairs well with the matching Chika figure!

Flawless!

Really nice figure for its price point. The autumn-y outfit is well detailed and makes for a nice figure to display in the fall. Very happy with how she turned out!

High Quality

This acrylic stand is HUGE. I know the product listing gives the dimensions, but it's another thing to see it in person. The art is good, and it is high quality overall!

Comfy

This is a comfy looking Rem. She looks great, with no paint defects that I saw. Cute pose too. Rem enjoyers will enjoy.

Somewhat Torn

Overall, a pretty good prize figure. I reallllllly love the way the shirt is textured so that it looks like it's actually a sweater. That is super cool. However, I have to give it demerits for a number of sloppy paint work that mars an otherwise excellent Rem. Don't know if other copies were like mine. If not, then it would be 5 out of 5.

Okay Megumin

This is an average prize figure. The paintwork is kind of middle of the road- not great, but not the worst I've seen. If you're a fan of Megumin or gym uniforms, you'll probably like it. If not, you might want to pass. There are worse prize figures, but also plenty of better ones.

Jester Miku

Super cute Miku in a jester outfit. She's pretty big, and looks good for a prize figure. Her face is a little derpy looking with the hair cut and just the way her eyes or eyebrows are, but that kind of seems like it's part of the jester aesthetic, so I actually don't mind it. Nice figure!

Cute, but not a good book marker...

This is a cute Shinobu, but don't expect to use her as a book mark like the promo pictures suggest you can. The plastic of the book marker part is too thick to really work well. You'll probably just put her on the included stand like me. Still looks good that way!

Summer is here already!?

I don't follow and know nothing about Hololive, VTubers, or video game streamers in general, but I decided to go for this one because...well, I think you can guess.
All in all, she looks great! Happy to include her among my other swimsuit figures. My only complaint is that I feel some areas are actually over-shaded. Her armpits and the kneepits (I don't know how else to describe the back of the knee?) are excessively shaded red. It looks like she had bad sunburn there, to be honest. I think how noticeable it is will depend on your lighting. Just be aware!
Otherwise, everything else is solid. She has a lot going for her in the assets department. ;P

UMI SONODA!

For a prize figure, this seems realllllly good! I found no paint issues on mine, and not even the seam/molding lines that are often visible in prize figures. Simply outstanding. I think it could pass for a scale.

Class is in Session!

Cute Emilia figure! The sculpt (generally) and painting are excellent. My only complaint is that her face feels slightly off, like her face/cheeks are just a tad fuller than some other Emilia figures. Still, it's only noticeable if you look closely.
Sit down and open your textbook, and you'll find a 4/5 from me!

Goes well with Minami

A little small, but still an excellent prize figure. The quality control seemed pretty good because I didn't see any paint issues. She looks good standing next to Minami!

Good, but has a lean.

She's a lot smaller than I was expecting, but looks pretty good for a prize figure. I didn't see any real paint imperfections that are common to cheaper figures.
My only real complaint is that she looks like she's kind of off center or leaning to the side (or at least mine is). It wouldn't really be an issue if the holes on the base were placed a little further over (so it evens out), but it does look a little off.
Fortunately, I have the Fuka prize figure that is part of the same series and when put together, it looks like Minami is kind of intentionally leaning in towards Fuka, so it doesn't look that weird. Overall, good pick for a cheap figure.

Nice

Not really familiar with Azur Lane, but I like racing characters and she is definitely, uh, racy. In all seriousness, she looks good! I like the base and flag, which makes the whole scene more dynamic.
I did take off a star because the bonus acrylic standee is basically garbage. Quality-wise, it is noticeably cheaper than the other acrylic standees I have. Plus, the base for the stand is just loose in a plastic sleeve along with the character part, so the actual standee got all scratched up. It so bad that I probably won't display it.
Perhaps I'm being overly harsh for something tangential because the figure itself is a 5/5. Still, I couldn't quite give it a perfect s...

Better than the pics

Not really familiar with the IP and I thought the promo pics looked kind of iffy, but I had points to use, so I took a chance. She actually looks really nice! No real paint defects, and I don't even see the mold (stripe) lines going down the arms/legs like you see in a lot of other prize figures. I'm very impressed and would consider her (or my copy, at least) to be among the best prize figures I own- and I have a decent amount.
She comes with a small, round base that simulates her sitting on the sand/beach. Get her if you're a fan of the IP/character, or like a slightly naughty swimsuit/beach figure!

Pretty Good

This is a pretty decent prize figure. From a distance, she looks good. Up close, not quite as good, but still serviceable. Her right hand is a separate part, glued at the wrist, which is sort of ugly. However, it's not super noticeable. The "main attraction" here looks pretty good, so I'm content. ;P

Excellent

My copy was great. Very happy with it. Despite being a prize figure, I couldn't find any real paint flaws or scratches. Maybe I was lucky, but I'd say mine looks like it could almost pass for an inexpensive scale.

Horns and Wings Color?

Overall, this is a nice Halloween-themed figure. Pretty happy, but I do have one complaint: her horns and wings are a really ugly mustard-orange color. The promo pictures make them look like a solid red color, and the box art looks like a flat red, with a hint of orange. But the end product's coloring is kind of off-putting. Not sure if this is specific to my copy. The rest of the figure is pretty good. I would give it "above average" for a prize figure. I'm hovering between a 3 and a 4 on this one, because those horns and wings are pretty ugly. If the coloring was right, I would probably give it a 5.

Not As Good As I Hoped

This is a prize figure, but a Taito one, so I was hoping it would be great. It's not bad, per se, but I have some complaints about Rem's head and hat. If you looking at it from eye level or below, it's okay. But if you're looking down at her from slightly above, it looks a little funny to me. The paint job on those red lines going across the hat is "prize" quality too. So other minor paint errors too. Does she look okay from a distance? Yes. But Taito has a reputation for some really good prize figures, and this one is just average.

Cute, but she’s facing the wrong way!

Overall, pretty happy with how she turned out. Some minor paint specks that are here and there, but nothing you would notice without a magnifying glass. She looks good!
That being said, I do have some complaints. I did get both Rem and Emilia, as they are sort of designed to be displayed together. Unfortunately, I don’t think they really work together as intended (shown in the promo pics). The problem is that Rem is almost facing backwards compared to Emilia. In that pose/angle, you’re really missing out on Rem’s best, ahem, qualities. I have them rearranged with Rem somewhat off kilter on the left. It looks slightly better, but takes over a larger shelf footprint. ...

SOS Brigade is here!

Great figure. She's pretty tall, which is actually pretty cool since most of the old Haruhi Suzumiya figures were 1/8 scale. I plan on displaying her surrounded by the smaller ones, so she stands above them like the "God" (?) she is!
Also nice is that there are different configurations for her arms, so you have different display/pose options! Very satisfied.

Genuine AoA

This is the anime adaptation for the first chapter in the mobile game, Fate/Grand Order. F/GO wasn't known for the writing at the beginning, but it's fairly well adapted. Not a huge fan of the blu-ray case, since it doesn't really match with other F/GO blu-rays, but it's fine. A little expensive, but that is expected for an Aniplex of America release. It was actually cheaper here than other places, so that was a plus!

Hey, Puppy!

Overall, I'm happy with how she turned out. Mine arrived in good condition. The tail is a little wobbly, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be, but it seems solid enough. I really do wish they included her weapon (the mic stand spear), as that would have made her really pop, in my opinion.
Be aware that her skirt sticks out all around at almost a 90 degree angle (as you can see from some of the side pictures). Think about if you want to put her on any shelves above eye-level because you might be in for some regular flashes of white and purple stripes! Unless that's your goal, of course. (You know who you are...).

Edge of Dawn

Pretty good for the price. This Pop Up Parade Edelgard isn't a show-stopper, but she still looks respectable.
Pros: Pretty affordable, and decent quality for what you pay. No real major issues.
Cons: Her white ascot thing is painted completely white, so it looks a little funny to me. I may go in with a pencil to add some definition to the creases. I also wish she came with an axe. I think it would have looked amazing if she had an axe in her left hand, resting on the ground like a cane. Finally, the usual complaint about PuP bases being ugly.
Although I was a little nitpicky in the "Cons," she still looks good enough that the "Pros" outweigh the "...

Now Haunting My Shelf

This is my first 1/4 Freeing Bunny, and as new initiates often say, she is big (and heavy)! Yuuna, the "titular" character from the series, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, looks great.
If you want to look at this as a wardrobe malfunction or just the classic ecchi "walk in" trope, either way is in character or feels like something you would find in the source material. Looks like she was able to cover up just in time, so the raised bump under each of her hands means you'll just have to leave the rest to your imagination.
The bunny suit is a glossy white silver, and the bare-leg style actually works well!
One thing that caught me off guard a little is ...

Great for the Price

This is a great prize figure, especially for how cheap she is. While yes, the blue color scheme isn't as festive as the traditional red Santa suit, it's still somewhat works. If you're artsy, I don't think it would be too hard to repaint yourself, if that was a deal breaker for you. Still, I thought the paint work was pretty good, and it even looks like there is some shading on her stockings!
The sack of gifts over her shoulder is notably cheap, with an ugly seam line going around it. However, since it's mostly behind her, it isn't noticeable.
She does come with two clear support rods for the ends of her twintails. The hair feels pretty light though, so...

Definitely Above Average

Bunny Girl Senpai is here as a Coreful figure. Like many of the figures in this line, she is a really solid prize figure. The sweater is actually really nice- probably the most impressive part to me.
I do have a few minor complaints, such as molding lines that run down the front of both legs. They're only really noticeable if you look from certain angles, but it does detract somewhat.
The top of her head, where the headband meets her hair is also kind of messy.
She also has glossy nail polish on her right hand, but instead of being just on the her nails, the glossiness runs halfway up her fingers.
For a prize figure, these sorts of things are to be expected. Perhaps I s...

Mixed Feelings

I love prize figures, but this Coreful Kaguya is a bit of a mixed bag (or at least the particular one I got is...).
Her head, face, and hair look much better than I expected. The promo pictures make her hair seem shiny, which almost makes it look like it's greasy or she hasn't taken a shower in a while.
In reality, her hair is a nice matte black, which looks great. Despite a little sloppiness on the red ribbon/hair tie, her neck and above are good.
Likewise, the bottom half (basically below the waist seam line) looks great too with a nice matte black. The main issue I've got is the torso and arms. On mine, these parts of the figure are more of a satin finish. Not ...

Spooky

Pretty satisfied with her. Be aware that she comes in the same box as the normal variant, so all of the box pictures show the other version. The only thing explaining that it's the Limited Edition version is a sticker (and the figure inside the box itself, of course). Don't freak out when you open it and see the other version's art on the box!
As for the figure, I do like this one a lot more than the normal variant. The paint is generally fine, though there were a few slight QC-type things I found, but they're not noticeable enough to fret over. Add her to your collection if you like To Love-Ru or Halloween themed figures!

Excellent

Another high quality Taito prize figure. I love it.
She looks just like the stock photos (minus the base, of course).
One thing to note though is that she is really hard to get the pegs into the base so that they sit flush against the bottom. Basically, it's a really tight fit. I actually tried to shave the edges a little to help. Maybe the tight fit will help protect against leaning over time, but then again, it's probably her ankle that would be the weak point. Leaning is in the back of my mind as a potential (future) problem, but only time will tell on that front. For now, she looks great!

Better Than Expected

The stock photos on this one looked kind of iffy to me, but I took the chance. She's actually pretty good! Way better than I expected. I'm not a huge fan of the piano chair (?) that she's sitting on, but only because of the color. I might try re-painting it brown so it looks more real than that bright blue thing. I still think she's worth it if you like good quality prize figures.

Phat!, not Fat!

She seems actually kind of big for a 1/8 scale, and she's big in more than one area. You'll hear no complaints from me on that front!
Overall, I think she turned out great. I like that the blue towel is a completely separate piece. With the way her hands are positioned/molded, it wouldn't look weird to leave it out and display her like she's just frolicking or dancing on the beach. I haven't decided how I'll display her (with or without), but it's nice that there are basically two options!

Mash in Action

This is a pretty good prize figure. While obviously not scale-quality, she looks good. I didn't notice any major paint flaws, though the hair color seems to be a shade that is slightly off from what I think it ought to be.
Be warned though- she is kind of difficult to put together. Her hands are attached to the shield (which is a separate piece), so when you take her out of the box, she looks like a Star Wars character who had her hands cut off by a lightsaber. Putting the shield together and getting her arms to line up with the hands isn't easy, and I did worry about the possibility of breaking her. At the same time, it didn't seem impossible. My advice is to be patient ...

High Quality

She's a bit small, but this Bunny Girl Senpai is really nice for a prize figure. Like, REALLY nice. She has real fishnet stockings and the paintwork is clean. If she were a bit bigger, she would give scales a run for their money. Mine did have a small scratch or line going across her right arm, below the shoulder, but it's not super noticeable. All in all, this is great for the price!

Pretty nice for a Prize

I see the jokes about how the real score here is the chair, but let's not forget that this is a nice figure of Mio too! Especially for a prize figure, she looks excellent. Is she the same quality as an actual scale figure? No, but you wouldn't be able to tell at a distance. Pick her up if you're a fan of the series or character. I have her paired with a Karen Hojou figure from the same line and they look great together!

Pretty cute

Yui (or this figure of her, at least) doesn't seem to be too popular, but I think she turned out great! I'm not that picky, but there aren't any major flaws from what I can tell. I really like the gradients on the horns and claws. She is 1/6 scale, so kind of big too. Her cape thing acts kind of like a base/stabilizer, so she takes up a bigger footprint than you would expect.

She's fine...

This is a prize figure and it kind of shows. Mine has rough edges on the back of her ankles/heels, almost like they clipped her off of the sprue of a model or gunpla kit. She also seems a little more pale than I think she ought to be. Finally, I feel like there's something slightly off about her head/face (not really helpful, but it's hard to describe).
That being said, if you go into this knowing it's a prize and don't expect anything crazy, you'll probably be satisfied. You get what you're paying for, but the good news is that she looks fine at a distance and on the shelf. The flaws are more apparent when you're looking at her up close and personal, b...

BB? More like BG (Big Girl).

Summer BB arrived a month early (!!!); and while it's cooling off now in September, she's certainly still bringing the heat. If you couldn't tell, I'm pretty happy with her.
First off, this figure as a whole is huge. The box is huge and she is large in many ways, if you know what I mean. She has a large wingspan (or is that really her coat?), and her hair takes up a lot of space in the back. Be warned that she will take up a lot of shelf-space. Also note that for as large as the figure is overall, she is still a 1/8 scale, so her actual body does seem a little on the small side (if you're more used to 1/7 scales).
Before it actually arrived, I was a little co...

QuesQ's Teruzuki is a solid addition to any KanColle fan or ship-girl enthusiast's collection. From the dynamic pose to the turret's bullet cigar, there's a lot of character packed into this small (fun sized?) figure.
Indeed, Teruzuki is a little on the small side- but not excessively so. She is considered "Non-Scale," but I compared her with a 1/8 scale KanColle Shimakaze figure, and they are pretty close at a quick glance. Teruzuki is still a tad smaller, so she may work out to being something like a 1/8.5 scale, but I don't think she will look out of place next to other 1/8 scale KanColle figures.
Really, the only issue is that her hair color i...
