Even without the iconic setting of breaking wave and wind-blown sea foam, this would be a great figure, but the setting kicks it up a level.

Great detail in her hair, her kimono, and her obi. The way her brush echoes the form of the wave is nice as well. This figure was definitely worth the wait.

One small problem: the figure and the wave are very had to fit to the base. The pegs are deep inside opaque structures, so it requires a good deal of patience to get them lined up and fitted.
