This will only work if you are fairly skinny. I'm a size 16 and 5'6 but I have some free size wide-trouser pants and three free size tops I bought while I was in Japan. So since I've seen that their free size works for me, and because kimonos and yukata typically have a ton of fabric you have to fold up into the belt, I didn't think this would be a problem. But there is no way to make this fit right, and if you tie it as tight as you can, it looks junky.
