I was very excited to see more Escaflowne. I had to get this kit. After the build, I feel a bit disappointed. At 5.5", it's about the size of a figma figure. I feel like GSC is still learning how to refine their model kits. As you assemble this kit, you'll find small gaps in the seams, which means you need to file the pegs a bit. Aside form the seam lines, you'll also find some mold lines where the mold is separated when they make the parts for the kit. As for articulation, the thigh swivel is very limited, no other leg swivel except for the ankles. The shoulders are limited by the large shoulder armor.
